We have booked two workshops with Sandy in November; you can bring your soapstone blanks to work on or if you are new to soapstone carving, Sandy will guide you through the process.
The workshop fee is $30 for one workshop, $50 if you sign up for both days. The fee includes one little loon blank, a good piece to get you started or practice your skills and the use of tools you need to create your finished piece. Other roughed-out designs will also be available for an additional cost
All workshops are held at Armour Heights Community Centre, 2140 Avenue Rd.
