November 2nd at the Knox United Church Meeting Hall starting at 8:00pm
Tania Ivaniouchkina has had a lifelong passion for gems. After a brief career as an engineer in her native country of Ukraine, and 25 years as a high school teacher in Toronto, Tania found her true calling in Gemmology. She became a fellow of the Canadian Gemmological Association, where she remains an active member. She is passionate about phenomenal stones and is working on her collection. Even though her favourite stone is opal, and she hopes to one day visit the opal mines in Coober Pedy, Tania will be talking to us this month about that most famous of metamorphic rocks, marble.
